How to Fit a competition style suits

Guys: The preferred style for Dolphins is the jammer. To put on the suit, gather up each leg and pull it over the knee. Some will step into the jammer and pull it up. Not a good idea. This will stretch the suit. The fit should be snug, not big or loose. You don’t want to dive off the block and lose it!

Girls: Some swimmers prefer a suit with thin straps. Others prefer thick straps. Either way, the suit should fit snugly. It’s too big if it puckers around the neckline or butt. A competition swimsuit is NOT an item you buy to GROW into.

Goggles

All swimmers need goggles, these are not optional.

Swim Caps

Dolphins silicone swim caps are available for $10. See Beth Sims at practice to purchase yours.
